SSH Discovery

bitB uses SSH to access and discover Fortinet devices. Once bitB is connected to a device, bitB issues show, get, and diagnose commands. The information is parsed and saved to the database.

Logical Maps and Data Grids

Logical maps are route-driven hierarchical network maps based on IP routing tables from the Fortinet devices. Logical maps show the Layer 3 path from the Internet to your Internal networks. The data grids show the device connections in table format. You can easily save the tables to Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.

vPhysical Maps and Data Grids

vPhysical maps are route-driven hierarchical network maps based on IP routing tables. vPhysical maps show layer 2 switching in the network. Fortinet devices are virtualized and shown for each VDOM. vPhysical groups devices and interfaces based on VDOM. The data grids show the device connections in table format. You can easily save the tables to Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.

Physical Maps and Data Grids

Physical maps are route-driven hierarchical network maps based on IP routing tables. Physical maps show physical devices and physical interfaces. No virtualization is shown on the Physical map or data grid. The data grids show the device connections in table format. You can easily save the tables to Excel, CSV, PDF, etc.
